Public Consultation Ranwal RKPD Samarinda City in 2023
Secretary of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Charmarijaty, S.T., M.Si representing the Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province attended the Public Consultation Forum for the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) in 2023, Tuesday (02/03/2022).
In her presentation, Ms. Charmarijaty said that the direction of the Samarinda City Development Policy in the RKPD of East Kalimantan Province in 2023 one of which was social strengthening.
Furthermore, social strengthening in Samarinda City is expected to be arranged by compiling a measurable priority scale, such as a focus that needs to be done in North Samarinda District, bearing in mind that some areas have a very high poverty rate compared to other districts. On the other hand, the priority of the direction of development policies in Samarinda City is also expected to be directed at improving flood control facilities which include small acid coral systems, coral mumus, Sentos-Remaja-A.yani (Semani), Loa Janan, and Rapak Paths so that flood control efforts can be carried out optimally for the common interest.
To note, this public consultation event is one of the stages to gather the aspirations or expectations of the community towards the goals, targets, and regional development programs to support the initial draft of the Samarinda City RKPD.
In the event, the Mayor of Samarinda, Dr. H. Andi Harun opened and gave direction to ± 117 meeting participants who attended virtually from the elements of the regional apparatus in the Samarinda City Government and other related stakeholders.
"I hope, all parties can establish coordination and synergize by setting aside sectoral egos so that the acceleration of development and improvement of post-pandemic human resources in Samarinda City can be optimized together", he said giving directions.
