MPR RI, Bappenas, and Kemen PUPR working visits to IKN locations
Thursday, 01/27/2022. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province represented by the Head and Secretary accompanied the Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan to receive a Working Visit of the Chairperson and Leaders of the Indonesian Consultative Assembly (MPR) together with the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (Dr. Ir. M. Basuki Hadimuljono, M.Sc) and the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas RI (Dr. (IKN) "Nusantara". Previously, a meeting was held with all teams that would be involved in preparing for the implementation of the MPR RI, Bappenas and Ministry of Public Works Program on Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan (Mr. Hadi Mulyadi) in his delivery to the media crew that this working visit is expected to accelerate the progress of the development of the capital city of the country "Nusantara". He also advised the entire people of East Kalimantan to be able to maintain security and peace in welcoming IKN by promoting an attitude of maintaining cohesiveness and harmony among fellow religious communities.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the MPR RI (Mr. Bambang Soesatyo) said that this visit was carried out to further ensure the IKN development plan so that it could be realized immediately. Also conveyed regarding the budget that will be prepared for the construction of the "Nusantara" IKN, based on information from the Wamenkeu has been prepared. Regarding the transfer and to live in East Kalimantan, he said that all levels of leaders and staff in the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly were very ready to move to the location of the Capital City and live in East Kalimantan.
On this occasion, the Minister of PPN/Bappenas RI (Mr. Suharso Monoarfa) provided information related to the area of the Capital Capital (IKN) "Nusantara" will be approximately 256 thousand hectares consisting of 199 thousand hectares for the development area, 56 thousand hectares for the capital area, and 6,700 hectares for the core area (IKN). Furthermore, regarding the land acquisition of residents entering the location of the IKN will be released in stages.
Minister of PUPR (Mr. Basuki Hadimuljono) also provides information that in relation to the construction of the "Nusantara" state capital, the Ministry of Public Works has proposed a budget of approximately 46 trillion which will be used for the construction of the State Palace, the Parliament Building, the MPR Building, the Regional Water, Drinking Water, Drainage, Drainage, and other basic projects in the core.
