Balikpapan City Musrenbang in 2024
Balikpapan, (20/03/2023) Head of Infrastructure and Regional Affairs Mrs. Elly Luchritia Nova attended the 2024 Balikpapan City RKPD Musrenbang as a resource person.

This event was opened directly by the Mayor of Balikpapan, Mr. Rahmad Mas'ud and attended by all regional officials within the Balikpapan City Government, DPRD, FRKD, and other stakeholders at the Grand Tjokro Balikpapan Hotel

In her presentation, Mrs. Nova said that Balikpapan City has an important role in the economy of East Kalimantan Province with an economic contribution in 2022 of 13.82%.

The city of Balikpapan has created sustainable economic growth through continuous development in the transportation and warehousing sectors, the food and drink accommodation provision sector, financial services and insurance. The positive economic trend of Balikpapan City needs to continue to be maintained by prioritizing the growth of the economic sector in services, trade and industry which is in line with East Kalimantan's Economic Transformation efforts.

At the end of the presentation, Ms. Nova advised the City of Balikpapan to prepare the 2024 RKPD Draft in accordance with the provisions, stages and procedures stipulated in Minister of Home Affairs regulation Number 86 of 2017 by aligning Priorities Development as stated in the RPD of East Kaimantan Province for 2024-2026.
