West Kutai Regency RKPD Musrenbang 2024
Barong Tongkok, 03/21/2023. Head of the Economic and Natural Resources Division, Mr. Wahyu Gatut Purboyo, S.Pi, M.Si, attended the 2024 Musrenbang RKPD West Kutai Regency as a resource person at the Aji Tulur Jejangkat Sendawar building.

This event was opened by the West Kutai Regional Secretary and attended by all Regional Apparatus within the West Kutai Regency Government, DPRD, FRKD, and stakeholders.

In his presentation, Mr. Wahyu said that in terms of macroeconomic conditions, West Kutai Regency has a contribution of 4.71% to the economy of East Kalimantan Province in 2022. Where the economy of West Kutai Regency is dominated by business fields based on the Mining sector, which can be seen from its contribution of 57.88%.

West Kutai Regency is expected to encourage other economic growth in the short term, namely the construction sector, wholesale and retail trade sector, industry and the transportation and warehousing sectors to encourage the movement of goods and services which ultimately opens up space for downstream industries with high added value.

Closing his presentation he emphasized that the involvement of various parties is very important, considering that cooperation and clear division of authority is one of the keys to resolving complex problems and development issues.
