Resource person kick off meeting preparation of the initial draft of the Samarinda City RPJPD in 2025 - 2045
Samarinda, (4/9/2023). East Kalimantan Province Bappeda through the Head of Regional Development Control and Evaluation Planning, Mr. Alfino Rinaldi Arief became a guest speaker at the Kick Off Meeting event Preparation of the Initial Draft Regional Development Plan (RPJPD) of Samarinda City in 2025-2045 which was held at the Mercure Hotel Samarinda.

In the event, he delivered a presentation related to the concept of the long-term development plan of East Kalimantan Province in 2025-2045.

"There are 4 stages that later need to be accommodated in the RPJPD (Samarinda City) so that it can accommodate the next 20 years so that the direction of development in the RPJPD document is not too rigid and also too broad that can make the development direction unclear" said the Head of PPEPD Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan.

In the East Kalimantan RPJPD 2025-2045, there are several stages in realizing the Vision of the East Kalimantan RPJPD to "Realize East Kalimantan which is increasingly advanced, prosperous, and equitable economy-based on continuous economy towards Indonesia Gold 2045". In phase 1 (2025-2029), development will focus on strengthening the foundation of sustainable economic transformation as an economic superhub and partner of IKN. Furthermore, in stage 2 (2030-2034), it will focus on strengthening regional competitiveness in the implementation of sustainable economic transformation and the role of IKN partners.

To note, kick off meeting preparation of the initial draft of the Samarinda City RPJPD in 2025-2045 which was opened by the Mayor of Samarinda, Mr. Andi Harun and attended by around 111 participants consisting of Forkopimda, East Kalimantan Province, Bappeda Kab. Kutai Kartanegara, Academics/Practitioners, Companies, Institutions, Religious Forums, Youth and Children Forums, Banking Worlds and Regional Apparatuses in the Samarinda City Government Aims to conduct orientation and equalization of perceptions and perspectives, as well as obtain input and suggestions in the preparation of the initial Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPD) of Samarinda City 2025-2045.

Through this activity, the Mayor of Samarinda hopes that the Samarinda City Bappedalitbang as the compiler of the Samarinda City RPJPD in 2025-2045, can connect strategic issues into the Samarinda City Development Planning Document.
