Provincial Speaker MUSRENBANG RPJMD Balikpapan City 2021-2026
Thursday, September 16 2021. The Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda attended virtually and delivered a presentation and gave comments on the implementation of the "Musrenbang RPJMD Balikpapan City 2021 - 2026". This event was attended by elements of Forkopimda, representatives of Vertical Agencies in the Balikpapan City area, NGOs and community leaders as well as all Regional Apparatus within the Balikpapan City Government.
The Head of Bappeda for East Kalimantan Province conveyed in his presentation the results of consultations and recommendations for improvements to the draft RPJMD for Balikpapan City for 2021 - 2026 which had previously been submitted. Apart from that, several other things that were emphasized included adjustments to the policy direction and macro development indicator targets set by the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in the Amendment to the East Kalimantan RPJMD for 2019 - 2023.
The city of Balikpapan in the 2021 - 2026 RPJMD design has the vision of "realizing Balikpapan as a leading city that is comfortable to live in, modern and prosperous within the framework of madinatul iman" with 5 missions, namely realizing good governance; realizing high quality human resources; providing adequate city infrastructure; creating a comfortable city to live in that is environmentally conscious; and developing a creative people's economy. Meanwhile, the strategic issues being looked at are related to increasing economic growth; poverty alleviation and PPKS; improving the quality of human resources; provision of reliable and environmentally sound infrastructure; spatial planning; sustainable environmental management; and governance.
