Desk Discussion Regarding the Implementation of SPM and Integration of SPM in the Public Works and Public Housing Sectors in 2020
Wednesday, July 21 2021. Based on UUD 23 of 2014, the Regional Government prioritizes one of the mandatory matters in the form of public works matters and public housing matters which are designated as SPM. Regional governments can implement and fulfill the SPM standards for Public Works and Public Housing which every Indonesian citizen has the right to obtain at a minimum in accordance with the type of basic services and quality of basic services in accordance with Government Regulation Number 2 of 2018
The basic types of services in the Regional Authority Public Works SPM consist of meeting bulk drinking water needs across districts/cities and providing regional domestic wastewater treatment services across districts/cities. Meanwhile, the types of basic services in district/city Public Works SPMs consist of meeting basic daily drinking water needs and providing domestic wastewater treatment services.
In order to implement SPM in the regions, a series of SPM implementation stages must be carried out, namely data collection, calculating the need to fulfill basic services, preparing plans and implementing them.
