Discussion on Performance Identification and Indicators for Environmental Affairs Sub-Activities

- Multiple interpretations of performance and indicators in determining unit indicators, preceded by performance determination agreed between technical ministries/agencies and technical agencies and initiated centrally by the Ministry of Home Affairs
- Difficulty defining performance and indicators and determining operational definitions that are agreed upon between technical ministries/institutions and technical agencies and initiated centrally by the Ministry of Home Affairs
- Relationship levels between sub-activities - activities - programs in determining relationships with other sub-activities (performance tree) and with levels above which can then form patterns between regions according to regional conditions and capabilities
- Difficulty in carrying out control and evaluation in adding performance information attributes, indicators, units, operational definitions, nspk and implementation fields to sub-activity titles will provide a common perception for regions, so that implementation can be compared between regions
- Separate which indicators are measured at the provincial level and which are at the district/city level, ask for district/city and provincial planning documents for environmental affairs which include indicators that are measured in each district/city and province so that there is an overview as well as information on what indicators are measured in the district/city and province. Operational definitions have been made for all of these indicators so that they are easy to measure.
- The GHG Emission Reduction Working Group which consists of various sectors (land, energy, waste) is in the Provincial Bappeda, Coordination activities and Preparation of PEP Report documents are coordinated by the GHG Working Group and reported to Bappenas every year.
- The 2022 East Kalimantan Province RKPD was determined on June 30 2021. If changes to the indicators or units are to be made then they can be adjusted/harmonized when preparing the 2022 RKPD Amendments in 2022.
