The Importance of Synchronization: East Kalimantan Bappeda Holds Evaluation of Ranperda RPJMD Paser 2025-2029

The East Kalimantan Provincial Government (Pemprov Kaltim) through the East Kalimantan Bappeda held an evaluation of the Draft Regional Regulations (Ranperda) of the Regional Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMD) for Paser Regency for 2025-2029, Wednesday (6/8). This important activity was carried out in the Provincial Bappeda Propeda Meeting Room. East Kalimantan in Samarinda, with the option of online participation via Zoom Meeting to reach various parties. This activity was led by the Head of Regional Development Planning, Control and Evaluation (PPEPD) of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Alfino Rinaldi Arief.
The evaluation of the RPJMD Ranperda is a crucial step in accordance with the mandate of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 86 of 2017 and Minister of Home Affairs Number 2 of 2025. The aim is to test the suitability of the Paser Regency RPJMD with the Regional Long Term Development Plan (Regency/City RPJPD), Provincial RPJMD, Regency/City Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW), and National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN), as well as paying attention to higher public interests and statutory provisions. This process also involves a review to obtain input on the draft Regional Regulation, following a request for evaluation from the Regent of Paser on July 31 2025.
In this evaluation, the East Kalimantan Bappeda team together with various relevant regional apparatus within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government looked at various important aspects, including data and achievements of existing conditions, links to strategic problems and issues, as well as the rationality of projected performance of regional government administration. Alignment with the Provincial RPJMD and RPJMN is a major concern to ensure synchronization of national and regional development planning. The results of this evaluation will later be included in the Minutes and become the basis for preparing the Governor's Decree regarding the evaluation results of the draft Regional Regulations regarding Regency/Municipal RPJMD, as a guide before the adoption of a Regional Regulation by the Regional Head.
