Submission of the Final Draft RKPD for East Kalimantan Province for 2022
Samarinda, 07 June 2021, 09.00 WITA. The East Kalimantan Provincial Government through the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda held an "Exposé of the Final Draft RKPD for East Kalimantan Province for 2022" which took place in the Ruhui Rahayu meeting room of the East Kalimantan Governor's office and was carried out through a virtual meeting (online). The implementation of this activity is in accordance with the mandate of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 86 of 2017 concerning Procedures for Planning, Controlling and Evaluation of Regional Development, Procedures for Evaluation of Draft Regional Regulations Concerning Regional Long-Term Development Plans and Regional Medium-Term Development Plans, as well as Procedures for Amendments to Regional Long-Term Development Plans, Regional Medium-Term Development Plans and Regional Government Work Plans.
The 2022 East Kalimantan Province RKPD is the fourth year of implementation in the 2019-2023 RPJMD period which carries the theme "Structural Reform and Strengthening Regional Competitiveness in the Context of Welcoming the National Capital".
This activity was attended by all Regional Apparatus of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, and Regency/City Governments throughout East Kalimantan. This activity was officially opened by the Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province, then continued with the delivery of material by the Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM. In his presentation, the Head of Bappeda for East Kalimantan Province said that East Kalimantan is still facing a number of main problems in development in the East Kalimantan region, namely the high inequality in human resource competitiveness; Welfare has not been realized fairly & evenly; Slow economic transformation towards sustainable natural resource management; The distribution and development of basic infrastructure services has not been optimal; Increased risk of environmental quality degradation; and governance has not yet produced public services and policies that are oriented towards community sovereignty.
Speaking about the development of Regency/City areas, the Head of Bappeda for East Kalimantan Province conveyed several strategies and policy directions, including strengthening connectivity between regions and economic areas and equalizing the coverage of integrated transportation, telecommunications, energy and water resources infrastructure network services throughout the region; Increasing the added value and competitiveness of regional superior commodity products; Improving the quality of environmental management and controlling the development of cultivation activities so that they do not exceed the carrying capacity and capacity of the environment; and Optimizing regional income sources.
To support the achievement of the goals, targets, strategies and policy directions that have been determined in the 2022 East Kalimantan Province RKPD, 392 programs, 1,279 activities and 3,598 sub-activities have been prepared, which require a total expenditure of + IDR 11,043 trillion. Where this amount includes Salary & TPP, DAK, DID, DBH-DR, BLUD, BTT assumptions, some grants, and capital participation.
