Preparation of Master Plan for Development of Farmers Based Agricultural Areas
Samarinda, (8/09/2020) . Head of Agriculture and Fisheries Subdivision Ir. Hj. Hidayanti Dharma, MP attended the Master Planting Master Planting of Farmers -based Agricultural Areas in Farmers Virtual through the Zoom Meeting Application.
Also present in this activity of the East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Office, Regency/City Plantation Office, NGO, and Mulawarman University.
The purpose of the development of farmers-based plantation areas is to integrate a series of programs and activities of the plantation sub-sector into a complete unit both in the perspective of the regional and institutional system, so as to encourage the competitiveness of regional commodity and in turn to be able to realize the welfare of farmers through economic institutions.
The intended economic institution is a legal entity institution with most capital ownership owned by farmers.
In the Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 18 of 2018 concerning Guidelines for the Development of Farmers-Based Agricultural Areas Farmers said that the Regional Government is required to compile a Masterplan Document of Agricultural Areas based on farmers. It is hoped that the document can provide direction for the planning of the area of the plantation in the same as national and provincial policies in the form of a corporate -based plantation development program in a directed, integrated, measured manner with the support of the necessary facilities and infrastructure.
