The compilation of laws for implementation of laws about the capital of the country
Thursday, 02/03/2022. Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hm. Aswin, MM accompanied by staff in the field of government and human development attended a coordination meeting between ministries/institutions (K/L) together with regional governments and related stakeholders to discuss the preparation of regulations on the implementation of the State Capital Law.
The coordination meeting held in the city of Balikpapan was opened by the Deputy for Monitoring, Evaluation and Control of Development, Dr. Ir. Taufik Hanafi, Mup. It was conveyed that this coordination meeting was carried out as a follow-up to the passing of the Law on the Capital City (UU IKN) by the Indonesian Parliament on January 18, 2022 and will soon be effective since it was enacted. In this regard, it is necessary to immediately be followed up by preparing the implementation regulations to ensure the fulfillment of the Mandate of the IKN Law and to ensure the smooth implementation of the IKN Law.
Besides that, the purpose of the implementation of the Coordination Meeting for the Implementation of the IKN Law is to coordinate the preparation of the IKN Law Implementation Regulations; compile the substance of regulations for implementing priority laws; and planning a follow -up from the preparation of regulations for implementing the IKN Law together with K/L and related regional governments.
The elements of the Regional Government involved in a joint coordination meeting with the Ministry/Institution (K/L) this time include the elements of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Government, and the North Penajam Regency Government.
Mr. Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Prof. Aswin on this occasion said "Do not let the sparkling only happen in IKN, but the buffer area does not enjoy the same thing. We need East Kalimantan to also be bright and sparkling" he said.
