Preparations for the Establishment of the Provincial Spatial Planning Forum. East Kalimantan
Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province through the Infrastructure and Regional Sector attended the Coordination Meeting for the Plan for the Establishment of the East Kalimantan Province Spatial Planning Forum which was held in a hybrid manner (online and offline) in the Meeting Room of the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Public Works, Spatial Planning and Human Settlements Service (PUPR-PERA), on Tuesday (08/02/2022).
The meeting which was opened by the Secretary of the PUPR-PERA Service (Mr. Ir. Dadang Irwan, M.Si.) was attended by elements of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government Regional Apparatus, the East Kalimantan Planning Expert Association and the Kalimantan Regional Association of Indonesian Planning Schools.
The discussion session at this forum was led by Mr. Ahmad Muzakkir, ST, M.Si as Head of the Spatial Planning Division of the Provincial PUPR & PERA Service. East Kalimantan.
It was conveyed that currently the East Kalimantan Provincial Government is formulating the formation of a Spatial Planning Forum in accordance with the mandate of Government Regulation Number 21 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Spatial Planning and Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Number 15 of 2021 concerning Coordination of Spatial Planning Violations.
The strategic steps that will be taken in establishing the Spatial Planning Forum include the formulation of the issuance of a Governor's Letter to the Chair of the Professional Association and the chairman of the Academic Association to gather members assigned to the Spatial Planning Forum. Apart from that, an inventory of East Kalimantan community figures and their expertise profiles will be carried out to be submitted to the Governor as input in appointing community figures.
The next step will be to sharpen the draft Governor's Decree and prepare a staff review for the Governor in the context of determining the East Kalimantan Province Spatial Planning Forum Decree.
