The private sector is ready to help with temporary road maintenance on the Samarinda-Bontang National Road
Samarinda (05/03/2021). The private sector is represented by PT. Lana Harita stated that she was ready to help the East Kalimantan-Kaltara XII National Road Center (BBJN) carry out temporary road maintenance on the Samarinda-Bontang National Road.
This was stated at a meeting of the East Kalimantan Province Road Transport Forum regarding the Completion of Handling of the Samarinda-Bontang National Road, Especially in Tanah Basis and its surroundings at at the Grand Victoria Hotel Samarinda.
This forum was chaired by the Head of Sub-Directorate of Traffic Directorate of East Kalimantan Regional Police and attended by the East Kalimantan Provincial Government including Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Infrastructure Bureau, Transportation Service, The District Police, Kutai Kartanegara Regency Government includes the Tanah Datar Village Head, the Transportation Service, Bappeda and Sector Police, National Road Center XIII East Kalimantan-Kaltara, Land Transportation Management Center
Submitted by the Head of Subdivision of Transportation Infrastructure, Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province, assistance for temporary road handling by the private sector includes the construction of crossing boxes, settling ponds and dredging. in drainage channels that are covered by sedimentation, and will coordinate with BBJN regarding the design and implementation SOP.
In this forum it was also agreed that in the implementation of road handling a system of opening and closing the flow of road traffic passing through the flat land area would be carried out and assisted by the Joint Transportation Service BPTD XVII to provide temporary warning signs.
