Welcoming the Governor of East Kalimantan with the Bontang City Government and Providing Assistance to Residents and Inspecting the Location of Raw Water Development in Bontang City (Void PT Indominco Mandiri)
Continuing the agenda of the series of activities of the Governor of East Kalimantan's working visit to the northern region on the first day, a friendly event was held with the Bontang City Government, Forkopimda and representatives of residents who received aid at the Hall of the Bontang Mayor's Office.
Some of the agenda for this event included the delivery of Covid and BPUM aid to residents; as well as listening to the Mayor of Bontang's presentation regarding the condition of raw water availability in Bontang City; then continued with activities to inspect void locations at PT Indominco Mandiri (for the availability of raw water in Bontang City).
On this occasion, the Governor of East Kalimantan symbolically handed over Covid compensation assistance to heirs and children whose parents died due to Covid. To date, data on compensation recipients in Bontang City has reached 326 recipients. Apart from that, the Governor also handed over Presidential Assistance for Productive Micro Enterprises (BPUM) for MSMEs in Bontang City worth approximately 60 billion.
In the presentation session, the Mayor of Bontang said that currently the availability of raw water to supply the raw water needs of Bontang City residents is in a deficit. Several locations that are expected to be alternatives in providing raw water needs in Bontang City include the Marangkayu dam; Sukarahmat Dam; and Void PT Indominco Mandiri.
