Facilitation and Coordination Meeting for the Implementation of Industrial Resource Development Plans
Tuesday, 24 August 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province attended the Facilitation and Coordination activities for the Implementation of the Industrial Resource Development Plan at the Midtown Samarinda Hotel which was organized by the East Kalimantan Provincial Industry and Trade and SMEs Service on Tuesday (24/8/2021).
As the prime mover of economic growth, the industrial sector, especially the non-oil and gas processing industry (manufacturing), occupies a strategic position to continuously improve its performance. In order to improve its performance, various efforts have been made, including implementing industrial resource development. Industrial human resources development is carried out to produce competent human resources in the industrial sector.
In the context of developing industrial human resources, Regional Governments can provide training, technical guidance, internships, vocational education and/or professional certification. Development of industrial resources includes 5 (five) aspects which are part of East Kalimantan Province Regional Regulation Number 10 of 2019 concerning East Kalimantan Province Industrial Development Plan for 2019-2039.
