Consolidation Meeting for the Preparation of Regional Poverty Alleviation Plan Documents for East Kalimantan Province
Samarinda (20/12/2023), Active today, the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda held a Consolidation Meeting for the Preparation of the East Kalimantan Province Regional Poverty Alleviation Plan Document (RPKD) at the Mercure Samarinda Hotel.
The implementation of today's activities is one of the stages in the poverty alleviation coordination process, in accordance with the mandate in Domestic Regulation Number 53 of 2020 concerning Work Procedures and Work Alignment as well as Institutional and Human Resources Development of the Provincial Poverty Alleviation Coordination Team and Regency/City Poverty Alleviation Coordination Team, where this regulation mandates the holding of a Coordination Meeting as a stage in the Team's work procedures. Provincial and Regency/City Poverty Alleviation Coordination (TKPK).
Approximately 150 meeting participants attended, consisting of 20 Provincial Regional Officials, 10 Districts/Cities throughout East Kalimantan along with elements of agencies that are members of the Secretariat of Other Poverty Alleviation Teams.
The aim of this meeting is to prepare a work plan for the RPKD process and identify programs/activities that support poverty alleviation in East Kalimantan Province.
This meeting was divided into two sessions where the first session was a presentation by resource persons or experts filled by Mr. Drs. Andi Muhammad Ishak as Head of the East Kalimantan Province Social Service who explained the Role of Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) and Data Targeting the Acceleration of Elimination of Extreme Poverty (P3KE) for Provinces and Districts/Cities, Mr. Farid Nurrahman, S.T, M.SC as an expert and explained Best Practice - Strategy for Implementing Mitigation Programs by Mr. H. Ananta Fathurrozi, S.Sos., M.Si and Mr. Sofyan Agus, representatives from the East Kalimantan Provincial Social Service.
Through this meeting it is hoped that we can also support efforts to eradicate poverty in East Kalimantan. In accordance with the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to reduce the rate of extreme poverty to reach the target of 0 (zero) percent by 2024.
