Special Committee for Family Resilience of the DPRD of East Kalimantan Province
Monday, September 13, 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province attended a limited meeting with the DPRD Prov. East Kalimantan related to family resilience in the context of refining the draft draft regulation on family resilience.
The background of the preparation of family resilience draft regulations is after several committee visits and consultations to other provinces including West Java, Jogyakarta and NTB. And the district/city in East Kalimantan a visit to Balikpapan, Kukar, Paser, PPU. Where many inputs are obtained about family resilience and the importance of family functions related to education, economy etc.
The purpose of the Hearing Meeting (RDP) is to strengthen the draft Special Committee for Family Resilience that has been made, by getting input from the relevant regional apparatus.
The Education Office explains that the need for support related to 12-year compulsory education, Religious Program (according to Mission 1 Prov. East Kalimantan) which supports increased family resilience.
Disperindagkop has done through programs carried out in encouraging family resilience such as:
- Training activities on UKM affected by Covid-19 from the Ministry of Cooperatives,
- Dak
- Training activities from UPTD Disperindagkop
Disnakertrans related to family resilience in the business world where so far there has been no laws, especially from the Ministry of Manpower who regulates it. This draft regulation will be purely a policy/local wisdom. The draft regulation is expected to be followed up with the Governor Regulation which regulates its technical. So there is a legal umbrella to conduct surveillance in the field.
Indicators of family resilience are seen through economic resilience. Family resilience is economics, this must be integrated with related regional apparatuses.
Welfare Bureau related to the activities related to family resilience is assistance to disability in collaboration with the Provincial and City Dinsos who conduct data collection, assistance to social institutions, and assistance to pesantren.
