Land Procurement Discussion Meeting in the IKN Area
Samarinda, (16/03/2023) Head of Infrastructure and Region of Ms. Elly Luchiritia Nova, ST, MT attended a land acquisition discussion meeting in the IKN area at the Governor's Office. Kaltim.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the person in charge/implementing land procurement in the IKN area, specifically at the preparation stage.

explained by Ms. Nova the planning/planning process has been carried out by the Ministry of ATR/BPN but in accordance with the laws and regulations the preparation process should be by the IKN Authority and location determination by the Head of the IKN Authority. due to considering the readiness of the IKN Authority body that does not yet have personnel.

IKN Authority hopes that this process will be carried out/assisted by the Ministry of ATR/BPN, East Kalimantan Provincial Government and Location Appointment Letter by the Governor of East Kalimantan.

Mrs. Nova explained that the Provincial Government & Ministry of ATR/BPN are ready to support & assist the preparation process/stage. However, a letter from the Head of the IKN Authority Agency to the Governor of East Kalimantan with a copy of the Ministry of Home Affairs is related to the request for assistance/support for the preparation of land acquisition. This letter is also expected to state considerations regarding why the preparation process requires regional support
