Meeting to discuss the Draft Presidential Regulation Concerning the National Capital Authority
Wednesday, 06/04/2022. Secretary of the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda, Mrs. Charmarijaty, ST, M.Si representing the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda attended the invitation to the meeting to discuss the "Draft Presidential Regulation on the Archipelago Capital Authority" which was held virtually by the Legal and Institutional Working Group on IKN Transfer and chaired directly by the Chair of the Working Group, Mrs. Dr. Diani Sadia Wati, SH, LLM.

The purpose of this meeting was to obtain input and suggestions in improving the draft of the Archipelago Capital Authority Presidential Decree which had previously been prepared by the Working Group team. A number of participants who attended this meeting came from representatives of relevant Ministries/Institutions, as well as representatives of Regional Governments (Provinces, Regencies/Cities in East Kalimantan).

The discussion this time was carried out on article by article contained in the draft Presidential Decree of the Archipelago Capital Authority with a total of approximately 34 articles. This Presidential Decree on the Archipelago Capital Authority describes in more detail the role, function, authority and various matters related to the Archipelago Capital Authority. Several inputs such as the use of several terms, then regarding the role of the council, as well as the need to include norms regarding personnel in the Presidential Decree have been summarized by the Working Group as input in improving the draft of the Presidential Decree.
