Discussion Meeting on the Draft PERGUB concerning Guidelines for Procedures for Providing Grants and Social Assistance Sourced from the APBD

Samarinda, 09 June 2021, 09.00 WITA. The Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, represented by the Government and Human Development Sector, attended a meeting to discuss the draft Gubernatorial Regulation on guidelines for the procedures for providing grants and social assistance sourced from the APBD which was held in the Bank I meeting room, 2nd floor of the East Kalimantan Governor's office. This meeting was chaired by the Head of the Legal Bureau, Rozani Erawadi, SH, M.Si and attended by 21 (twenty one) participants from relevant regional apparatus.

The resource person for the implementation of this activity was the Head of the East Kalimantan Province People's Welfare Bureau, Drs. Andi Muhammad Ishak, Apt, M.Si and Head of the Administration Sub-Division of the People's Welfare Bureau, Sulaiman, S.Pd. This meeting focused on discussing the Draft East Kalimantan Gubernatorial Regulation regarding guidelines for the procedures for providing grants and social assistance sourced from APBD funds. In discussing the draft Gubernatorial Regulation, 82 Articles were discussed in detail. In this gubernatorial regulation, there is no longer any mention of the agency that will provide recommendations on whether or not a proposal/request/proposal is approved. However, the proposal from the Community will be verified by the relevant Regional Apparatus, such as the People's Welfare Bureau, Bappeda, and other related Regional Apparatus.

In SIPD there are recess results from DPRD members. Regarding the distribution of funds, it is divided into the categories of Grants, Social Assistance and Financial Assistance and is included in the main thoughts of the DPRD. If the community's proposal is not appropriate, it will be rejected and returned to the applicant for correction. If it is appropriate, it will be processed through the relevant Regional Apparatus.
