DISCUSSION MEETING OF VALIDATION OF KLHS DOCUMENTS RPJMD BERAU DISTRICT YEAR 2021 - 2026
Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, represented by the economic sector, attended the online meeting to discuss the validation of the Berau Regency RPJMD Strategic Environmental Study (KLHS) document for 2021 - 2026 which was organized by the East Kalimantan Provincial Environmental Service and was also attended by validators and the Berau Regency Environment and Cleanliness Service. East Kalimantan Province is the only province that has used the application system (Sparkling) in the KLHS RPJMD document validation mechanism for Berau Regency.
This Berau Regency KLHS document has been prepared to support and complement the Berau Regency RPJMD document so that it can later achieve sustainable development goals and has used the II edition of indicator metadata. On this occasion, the Berau Regency Government conveyed several strategic issues on several pillars (social, economic, environmental, legal and governance) in the goals of sustainable development in Berau Regency, including those related to the distribution of poor people, Covid-19, availability of employment opportunities, new renewable energy, market access for business actors, slum settlements, degradation of water quantity and quality, climate change, overlapping management of forest areas, waste and RTRW.
