2022 Village and Rural Area Development Technical Meeting
Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province through the Government and Human Development Sector attended the 2022 Village and Rural Area Development Technical Meeting held by the Provincial Community Empowerment and Village Development Service (DPMPD). East Kalimantan, Friday (29/07/2022).

The meeting was opened by the Head of the Provincial DPMPD. East Kalimantan, Mr. M. Syirajuddin, S.H., M.T. The event was attended by the Provincial Bappeda. East Kalimantan, Heads of DPMD throughout East Kalimantan, Heads of Divisions within the East Kalimantan DPMPD, East Kalimantan Province Rural Area Development Coordination Team, Governor's Team for Supervising the Acceleration of Development of East Kalimantan Province (TGUP3) and East Kalimantan Province P3MD Experts, as well as related stakeholders.

The purpose of holding this coordination meeting is to increase coordination and synergy in the development of rural areas, potential and development of rural areas.

Efforts that continue to be optimized are to encourage every village in the East Kalimantan region that has high economic potential to become a motivation in accelerating the development of rural areas so that it becomes an opportunity for each village to develop cooperation between villages based on the potential mapping that has been carried out and achieve accelerated village development in the East Kalimantan region.

Another thing that will be done with existing data in rural areas in 10 districts/cities throughout East Kalimantan is geospatial mapping will be carried out to find out problems in rural areas, especially village boundaries so that conflicts between communities and companies can be avoided.
