Socialization of Improvement of Partnership and CSR Development Guidelines
Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan in the Economy and Natural Resources attended the socialization of the improvement of partnership and CSR development guidelines in online social forestry on October 11, 2022.

This socialization was held by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in the context of accelerating the achievement of social forestry targets, located in the Meeting Room of the Grand Hotel Balikpapan directly and in the network (online) through zoom.

This socialization is intended to facilitate the parties in understanding the roles and support that can be synergized with the activities of the Social Perhutani group.

This activity was opened by the Directorate General of Social Perhutani and Environmental Partnership Dra. Jo Kumala Dewi, M.Sc and attended by the related East Kalimantan Regional Government, Higher Education and Business World.

Social Forestry is part of the policy of economic equity through agrarian reforms aimed at reducing poverty, unemployment and inequality in managing or utilizing forest areas by determining the target access to manage 12.7 million hectares.

CSR in environmental partnerships is one of the potential programs to support business governance, institutions, areas in social forestry.

Ms. Kumala said social forestry as one of the national programs requires acceleration not only in the target of extent, but more importantly in the form of contributions to the achievement of people's welfare by maintaining environmental balance. >

Mrs. Kumala explained that there are four models of CSR implementation, namely the company's direct involvement, through corporate social organizations or organizations, with other parties, and joining the consortium.

He further explained the support of the CSR program can be in the form of capacity building, supporting infrastructure, support for capital and market access, and support for knowledge management.

Achievement of Social Perhutani Targets Needs support from the local government, academics, non-governmental organizations, community organizations, business worlds, community leaders and media.
