Tug of War Celebrates East Kalimantan's 2016 Anniversary
Samarinda, Friday 8/1/2016. Tug-of-war competitions are a special attraction in enlivening various commemorations of various events 
di this archipelago. The sport of tug-of-war is a local culture that is always present in every competition, including competitions between SKPD within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in commemoration of the 59th anniversary of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in 2016 in the parking lot of the East Kalimantan Governor's office, Samarinda, Friday 01/08/2016.
Even though the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda Tug of War Competition Team was immediately eliminated, there were still lots of laughs because tug of war became a special attraction in entertaining the participants, supporters and the spectators present.
The tug-of-war competition is usually used by people throughout Indonesia as a mandatory competition during the commemoration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, even in remote corners, even though this competition is very popular, because besides being cheap and can be used anywhere, the competition is entertainment in itself for the Indonesian people.
Apart from the tug-of-war competition, inter-bureau volleyball and Votsal ball competitions were also held on the same day so that the parking lot on weekdays was used for parking vehicles. Especially on Friday, it was packed with participants and supporters of the competition from various SKPDs within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government who participated in celebrating the 59th anniversary of East Kalimantan.
