Elements of the East Kalimantan Bappeda Participate in Media Campaign Training to Support Emission Reduction Programs in East Kalimantan
Bappeda East Kalimantan Province through the Technical Staff for Economic Affairs and Natural Resources, Rahmayanti Iskandar Ladonga attended media campaign training activities to support the emission reduction program in East Kalimantan which was organized by the East Kalimantan Regional Council for Climate Change (DDPI Kaltim) at the Midtown Samarinda Hotel, Wednesday (27/3).
The activity which was opened by Mr. Fajar Pambudi from the East Kalimantan DDPI element was held for 2 (two) days on March 27-28 2024 and was attended by around 21 participants consisting of elements of Regional Apparatus within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, NGOs, & related Development Partners.
In his remarks, this activity aims to establish synergy between all development partners in increasing human resource capacity through media campaign training which includes writing, photographing, uploading news and photos to the Green Growth Compact (GGC) page, so that elements of development partners can become contributors to convey information to the public in monitoring the development of the East Kalimantan Green Development Agreement or GGC through the publication media page that has been built by DDPI East Kalimantan.
Furthermore, there are several focuses that he hopes can be conveyed to the public, including those related to forest rehabilitation which is included in ecological protection efforts.
Apart from that, social protection for the community for the activities of various parties that occur in the field and are factors that contribute to the impact of climate change and give rise to legal injustice is also expected to be an important part of being published.
The resource person for this activity was Mr Ahmad Ridwan who is a senior journalist in East Kalimantan. Some of the material presented includes skills in writing straight and feature news, opinions, and various other journalistic skills.
Training activities are continued with direct practice regarding the presentation of the material and case studies that have been presented.
