The FGD Valtification Valtation of the Bhumada Awal 2020 Award
Samarinda, (10/21/2020). In the framework of the Bhumandala Award network award 2020 Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) conducts final verification to the Province of East Kalimantan in the form of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) online through the Zoom Meeting application.
Bhumandala Award is a form of BIG appreciation to network nodes with the aim of motivating, inspiring, strengthening and increasing the spirit of the Ministry/Institutions and devices in building geospatial information to continue to be fostered on an optimal manner towards optimal network node.
In this final verification stage the assessment includes verification of the suitability of the form, network node presentation and discussion, as well as exposure to facilities and infrastructure
East Kalimantan in 2020 is included in the top six Bhumanadala Award 2020 nominations for the best provincial network node category. Explained by the Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM in his presentation at this FGD East Kalimantan Province has a regional geospatial information network under the name One Map One Data where the system aims to realize an accurate and centralized data and thematic geospatial information base and information to support the implementation of regional development.
The target is the availability of geospatial data and thematic geospatial information, integrated geospatial data and thematic geospatial information, the availability of sharing facilities, and optimization of the use of geospatial data and geospatial information.
Aswin said one data one map has been widely utilized in macro policies such as input in the preparation of RKPD and RZWP3K, then in sector policies such as identification of overlapping land licensing, then in micro policies such as geospatial analysis of project development plans and in research and education such as the search for data and geospatial information for research.
With the many use of one map one data to support the implementation of development and integration with geospatial information networks in two districts (Kutai Kartanegara and East Kutai), East Kalimantan Province is optimistic that it will achieve the best predicate at the Bhumandala Award 2020.
