Strengthening Planning Quality
Balikpapan, 13/11/13. Strengthening the quality of development planning is the main task of the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda, in compiling 
development planning at the provincial level.
This was stated by Devi Anantha, S.E Head of the Implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation of Bureaucratic Reform, Apparatus Accountability, Regional Government Supervision I, Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia when providing suggestions and input in the preparation of the draft Strategic Plan for Bappeda for East Kalimantan Province for 2014-2018 in the meeting room of the Meratus Hotel Gran Senyiur, Jl. ARS. Mohamaad Number 7 Balikpapan which was officially opened by Plh. Head of Bappeda for East Kalimantan Province, and Secretary of Bappeda for East Kalimantan Province, Ir.H. Nazrin, M.Si and accompanied by the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Program Planning Sub-Division, Ir. Surono, M.Sc.
The discussion on the preparation of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Strategic Plan for 2014-2018 was attended by a small team of 20 people from the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda and involved the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia so that it could be in line with national development planning.
Furthermore, Devi Anantha provided input and suggestions in the form of refining the editorial work on the East Kalimantan Bappeda Strategic Plan draft, both in terms of vision, mission, goals, targets, indicators as well as evaluation and control and achievement of results within the next five years.
While Plh. Head of East Kalimantan Bappeda, Ir.H. Nazrin, M.Si and the Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda Program Planning Subdivision also provided suggestions for improvements in the preparation of the East Kalimantan Bappeda Strategic Plan.
Mission 1, Mission II and III in the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Strategic Plan are quite lengthy discussions because they cover various programs and activities. (Public Relations of the East Kalimantan Bappeda/Sukandar, S.Sos).
