East Kalimantan Governor inaugurates 270 officials

Samarinda, Governor-Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan for the 2013-2018 period DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak – H.M Mukmin Faisyal, at the beginning of time leadership immediately carried out massive transfer of 270 echelon II, III and IV officials.

Echelon II, III and IV officials within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government were inaugurated and took the oath of office by Governor Awang Faroek Ishak at the Sempaja Stadium Multipurpose Building in Samarinda, Friday (20/12/2013).

Awang said that transferring positions is a normal thing which is a bureaucratic process. With a new position and in a new environment, it is hoped that we can improve our performance and achievements, with the hope of improving the quality of service to the community.

"A true civil servant will not choose to be placed in a certain position. Whatever the position and place of work, it is ready to be implemented. We must work sincerely and selflessly," he said.

Awang said that the mutation train will continue as positions become vacant because officials have retired or moved places of duty.

In addition, the East Kalimantan Provincial Government through Baperjakat (Position and Rank Advisory Body) will continue to supervise and evaluate echelon officials.

"If they are unable to carry it out, we will replace them. Not only the new ones but also the old ones. For this reason, the position given must be accepted well and with gratitude. Continue to improve performance and as a leader you must be able to work together (teamwork) and also be able to protect your subordinates," he explained.

The governor hopes that in starting his term of office with the deputy governor, all echelon I, II, III and IV officials both in East Kalimantan and the districts/cities can understand together what development targets must be achieved. (source: Antara).

Meanwhile, there are 8 transfers within the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, consisting of 3 (three) staff who were promoted to echelon IV, namely: 1. H.Buyung Dodi Gunawan, ST, MM, originally the executive staff for Household Affairs, General Section of the echelon IV promotional Secretariat as Head of the Program Planning Sub-Division of the East Kalimantan Bappeda Secretariat; 2. Hj. Rahmawati, SE, MT, originally the executive staff for Regional Development Assessment and Financing, East Kalimantan Province Bappeda received a promotion to echelon IV at the East Kalimantan Province Manpower and Transmigration Service; 3. Berlin Friniko. S, SE was originally executive staff in the Regional Development Assessment and Financing Sector, promoted to echelon IV as Head of the Sub-Sector for Business Development, Tourism and Culture, Economic Sector. Meanwhile, the one who was originally promoted from echelon IV to echelon III was Saur Parsaoran. T, S.Pi, MEMD at the East Kalimantan Province Trade and Cooperatives Service.

Meanwhile, echelon IV mutations include: 1. Dra. Hj. AH. YONE MAY, M.Si, originally from echelon IV as Head of the General Sub-Section, transferred to the East Kalimantan Province Regional Secretariat Social Bureau; 2. Ir. Akhmad Huzairin was originally echelon IV as Head of the Development Control Sub-Division, Statistics and Development Control Division, transferred to Head of the General Sub-Division; 3. Charmarijaty, ST, originally Head of the People's Welfare Sub-Sector, Human Resources Development Sector, transferred to Head of the Development Control Sub-Sector, Statistics and Development Control Sector; 4. Ir. Surono was originally Head of the Transfer Program Planning Sub-Division as Head of the People's Welfare Sub-Division, Human Resources Development Sector.
