Acceleration of East Kalimantan Regional Development

Jakarta, 21/4/15. Pre-Musrenbangnas 2015 in the context of preparing the Work Plan for the Government of the Republic of Indonesia for 2016 is an important hope in accelerating development in East Kalimantan Province in 2016.

Pre-Musrenbangnas 2015 in the context of preparing the Work Plan for the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. 2016 is the first year for the Government of President Ir.H. Joko Widodo and Ir.H. Jusuf Kalla. Meanwhile, the implementation of the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN 2015-2019) is the second year in the 2016 Government of the Republic of Indonesia Work Plan.

The implementation of the 2015 Pre-Musrenbangnas at the National Development Planning / BAPPENAS office, Jalan Taman Soropati Number 2 Menteng, Central Jakarta and for the Kalimantan area was held on the fourth day, Tuesday 21/4/15, divided into 8 (eight) discussion groups with 1.5 hours for each group, namely:
1. Tourism and Industry (14 KL and 8 KEK) in the SG 2 meeting room at 08.30 – 10.00;
2. Border areas and Disadvantaged Areas in the SG 3 meeting room at 10.10 – 11.40;
3. Maritime Affairs in the SG 4 meeting room at 11.50 – 13.10;
4. Food Sovereignty in the SG 5 meeting room at 14.10 – 15.40;
5. Health in the SS 1 meeting room at 15.50 – 17.20;
6. Education in the SS 2 meeting room at 08.30 – 10.00;
7. Energy Sovereignty in the SS 3 meeting room at 10.10 – 11.40;
8. Mental Revolution in the SS 4 meeting room at 11.50 – 13.10.

The 2015 Pre-Musrenbangnas participants from the East Kalimantan Provincial Government were led directly by Plt. Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province and Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province DR.Ir.H. Rusmadi, MS and was also attended by Heads of SKPD related to the East Kalimantan Provincial Government including, Head of the Transportation Service, Head of the Public Works Department, Head of the Department of Cooperatives, Head of the Tourism Service, Head of the Border and Disadvantaged Villages Agency, Head of the Health Service, Head of the Mining Service, Head of the Community Empowerment Agency and Village Government, Head of the Fisheries and Maritime Service as well as echelon III officials representing echelon II. Also attended by echelon IV officials and staff within the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda and SKPD related to the East Kalimantan Provincial Government.

Working Group Discussion

Discussion in the Tourism and Industry group (14 KL and 8 KEK) in the SG 2 meeting room at 08.30 – 10.00, is very crucial for increasing development in East Kalimantan Province in the Infrastructure development sector including the Development of KIPI Maloy in Sangatta, Construction of the Samarinda – Balikpapan Toll Road, Irrigation Development to support the agricultural sector, rice field printing program as well as increasing Tourism on Derawan Island and its surroundings as well as increasing economic added value in the sector industry.

In the Tourism and Industry discussion sector, it was led directly by Plt. The Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province as well as the Head of Bappeda for East Kalimantan Province, was also attended by the Head of the Transportation Service, Head of the Trade, Industry and Cooperatives Service, Head of the Public Works Service, Head of the Tourism Service, Head of the Border and Disadvantaged Regions Agency as well as Echelon III, IV officials and SKPD staff of East Kalimantan Province.

Meanwhile in the Border and Disadvantaged Regions group in the SG 3 meeting room at 10.10 – 11.40 under the coordination of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Government and Apparatus Sector, attended by the Head of the Border and Disadvantaged Regions Agency, the Head of the Communication and Information Service, the Health Service, the Head of the Bappeda, the Head of the Transportation Service, the Bappeda Secretary, the Head of Regional Infrastructure and Development of the Bappeda, echelon IV officials and staff related to the SKPD scope East Kalimantan Provincial Government.

Meanwhile in the Maritime Group in the SG 4 meeting room at 11.50 – 13.10 with the coordinator of the Head of the Economic Division of the East Kalimantan Bappeda led directly, Ir. Ujang Rahmad, M.Si was attended by the Head of the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service, the Head of the Transportation Service, as well as echelon III, IV officials and SKPD staff of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government.

Food Sovereignty Group in the SG 5 meeting room at 14.10 – 15.40 with the coordinator of the Head of the Economic Division of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Ir. Ujang Rahmad, M.Si, attended by the Head of the Agriculture Service, Secretary of the Food Security Agency and echelon III, IV officials and related SKPD scope of East Kalimantan Province.

Discussion in the Health group in the SS 1 meeting room at 15.50 – 17.20 with the coordinator of the Head of the Human Resources Development Division of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, attended by the Head of the Health Service, representatives of the Public Works Service, as well as echelon III, IV officials and SKPD linkup staff of East Kalimantan Province.

Follow-up discussion in the Education group in the SS 2 meeting room at 08.30 – 10.00 with the coordinator of the Head of the Human Resources Development Division of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Drs.H. Hariyo Santoso was attended by the Head of the Youth and Sports Service, the Education Service and echelon III, IV officials as well as SKPD staff of East Kalimantan Province.

Discussion in the Energy Sovereignty group in the SS 3 meeting room at 10.10 – 11.40, with the coordinator of the Head of the Economic Division of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Ir. Ujang Rahmad, M.Si, attended by the Head of the Mining Service and echelon III, IV officials and related SKPD scope of East Kalimantan Province.

Meanwhile, the discussion in the Mental Revolution group in the SS 4 meeting room at 11.50 – 13.10 with the coordinator of the Head of the Government and Apparatus Division of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Siti Sugiyanti, SE., M.Si was attended by the Head of the Health Service, Head of the Community Empowerment Agency and Village Government, Head of the Communication and Information Service, Youth and Sports Service, Social Service, Public Works Service and echelon III, IV officials as well as staff within the Kalimantan Provincial Government East.
