East Kalimantan Wins Pangripta Nusantara Award
Jakarta, 29/4/15. East Kalimantan Province for the first time received the 2015 Anugerah Pangripta Nusantara (APN) award 
2nd best in Indonesia after Yogyakarta Province, first best and third best achieved by the West Java Provincial Government.
This award was given to the East Kalimantan Provincial Government for preparing a Regional Development Plan well.
The 2015 ASN award was given directly by the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Andrinof Chaniago to the Governor of East Kalimantan DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak at the opening ceremony of the 2015 National Development Planning Conference (Musrenbangnas) at the Bidakara Hotel, Jalan Gatot Subroto Kav. 71, South Jakarta, Wednesday (29/4/2015).
The Governor of East Kalimantan was accompanied by the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, DR.Ir.H. Rusmadi, MS at the time of receiving the award and a number of other officials within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government.
The development planning process carried out by the East Kalimantan Provincial Government always involves various parties (stakeholders), including the DPRD in formulating various regional development programs and activities.
The 2015 National Development Planning Conference (Musrenbangnas) was opened by President Joko Widodo and closed by Vice President Jusuf Kalla and attended by the Ministers of Work, Governors and Regents/Mayors throughout Indonesia as well as officials from the Provincial and Regency/City Governments throughout Indonesia.
