BAPPEDA East Kalimantan Province Discusses Finalization of LKjIP and Preparations for Regional Apparatus Forum in 2024
In this meeting, the East Kalimantan Bappeda discussed the completeness of documents and evidence that needed to be completed to increase the value of the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) in 2024. The improvements emphasized involved revising performance achievements with monitoring carried out periodically down to staff level. Information from the previous year's Performance Report becomes the basis for improving organizational performance achievements, with an emphasis on comparing the realization of provincial level performance and active participation in its preparation with appropriate accountability.
Preparing a good LKjIP for the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province has a crucial role in increasing accountability and transparency. By revising performance achievements and more detailed monitoring, Bappeda can ensure the effectiveness of regional development policies and programs. Explicit and detailed information provides a strong basis for strategic improvements and more effective and appropriate decision making.
Apart from that, a good LKjIP also allows Bappeda to better understand the realization of performance at the staff level, so that it can be adopted into human resource development plans and competency improvement more precisely.
The next agenda for this meeting includes discussing the goals and objectives of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda for 2024-2026 in the 2025 East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Plan, which refers to the 2024-2026 Strategic Plan. The East Kalimantan Bappeda plans three programs, namely the Provincial Regional Government Affairs Support Program, the Regional Development Planning, Control and Evaluation Program, and the Regional Development Planning Coordination and Synchronization Program. This plan is the basis for the development and progress of the East Kalimantan region in the next few years.
Next, the East Kalimantan Bappeda will hold a Regional Apparatus Forum as a forum for synergy with stakeholders and work partners, hear valuable input, and perfect the 2025 Bappeda Plan Document.
With these progressive steps, the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda provides confidence that a well-planned development plan will become a solid foundation for progress East Kalimantan.
