SIX NOMINATORS FOR THE PPD KALTIM AWARD COMPETE TO SHOW BEST QUALITY

Samarinda, (27/2/2019). The assessment of the Regional Development Planning Award for Districts and Cities in East Kalimantan Province is at the Verification and Interview stage for the Districts and Cities that have been determined to be nominees for the 2019 Regional Development Planning Award.

Previously, the six nominees for the Regional Development Award had been determined at the assessment team meeting on February 21, the nominees for the City category were Balikpapan City, Samarinda City and Bontang City. Meanwhile, the Regency categories are Kutai Kartanegara Regency, Berau Regency and East Kutai Regency.

The presentation and interview assessment carried out at the Amaris Samarinda Hotel was carried out by a team of assessors from East Kalimantan Province, while the assessment team was formed by the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province consisting of the main assessment team with coordinator Siti Sugiyanti, SE, MM (Government Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of East Kalimantan Province), an independent assessment team with coordinator Dr. Suyadi (Mulawarman University) and the technical assessment team with coordinator Drs. Hariyo Santoso (Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province), with 12 (twelve) members, namely Dr. Abdullah Karim (Unmul); Rusliansyah Ilham Karsidi, SE., M.Si (Unmul); Ahmad Noor, SE., ME (Unmul); Yusliando, ST (Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province); Noviady Dwi Noorcahyo, ST., M.Si (Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province); H. Andrie Asdi, SH (Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province); Berlin Friniko Sihaloho, SE (Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province); Dedy Pudja Wardana, ST (Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province); Ibnu Abbas, S.Sos., MT (Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province); Hj. Nani Nuraini, ST., M.T; Sri Rezeki, ST., M.Si; and Ir. Noor Albarakati, MT.

According to the Head of the SDMP Bappeda Division of East Kalimantan Province, Hariyo Santoso, as Coordinator of the assessment team, the assessment mechanism at this stage starts with a 20-minute presentation of each nominated district and city, after which it continues with a 15-minute discussion. The presentation for each nominated region will be delivered by the heads of each Regency and City Bappeda accompanied by a team.

This presentation and interview assessment will determine two nominations, namely one City and one Regency, which will continue to the next stage of assessment, namely the assessment of Regency and City RKPD documents by the central team (Bappenas).

The weight of the assessment at the assessment stage by the Provincial Assessment Team is focused on the Assessment of Regency/City RKPD and Innovation Documents with a weight of 45% then Verification and Interviews with a weight of 55%.

Several aspects that are assessed at the verification and interview assessment stage are the Development Achievement Aspect with a weight of 40% which includes 10 (ten) indicators, the RKPD Document Quality Aspect with a weight of 20% which includes 4 (four) indicators, the RKPD Document Preparation Process Aspect with a weight of 20%, and the Innovation Aspect with a weight of 20% which includes 4 (four) indicators.
