Facilitating Discussion of Toll Road and Non -Toll Road Network Development Strategy Discussions in the Kalimantan Region
Samarinda (06/24/2024) - As a follow -up to the Ministry of PUPR Ministry of Public Works and Directorate General of Bina Bangda on June 7, 2024, Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province through the Head of Infrastructure and Seniority, Mr. Baihaqi Hazami led the discussion of the Toll Road and Non -Toll Road Network Development Plan in the Kalimantan region which
Discussion which was attended by 24 participants consisting of elements of the Ministry of PUPR Directorate General of Bina Bangda, the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Element and related regional apparatus in the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, and related SOE elements such as PT. Pelindo IV, PT. Pertamina Hulu Indonesia, and the state gas company was carried out in the context of determining the priority scale to increase accessibility to the development area and improvement/expansion of the road network in the future.
Furthermore, the discussion aims to explain the progress of KTRMP studies and obtain input for road network development strategies at the regional level in the effort to prepare the Kalimantan Toll Road Masterplan conducted by the Indonesian Autralian Partnership for Infrastructure (Kiat).
In addition, face -to -face discussions with local governments and related stakeholders are carried out in order to get input on key development and road network strategies to formulate detailed recommendations in establishing scenarios in testing traffic modeling.
