Samarinda City P-RPJMD Public Consultation 2021-2026
Samarinda, (13/02/2023). Head of Planning, Control and Evaluation of Regional Development, Mr. Alfino Rinaldi. A, ST, M.E attended the Public Consultation on Changes to the Samarinda City RPJMD as Discussants at the Mangkupelas Meeting Room, Samarinda City Hall.

This event was opened by the Deputy Mayor of Samarinda Mr. Rusmadi Wongso and attended by all Regional Apparatus within the Samarinda City Government, Subdistrict Heads, Academics, Business World and Stakeholders.

In his discussion, Mr. Alfino stated that Samarinda City has a strategic role in efforts to transform the economy as a Service and Trade Center City.

If viewed from the Macroeconomic Conditions, as a service and trade center, Samarinda has an important role for the economy of East Kalimantan with an Economic contribution in 2021 of 10.23%, based on data, the LPE of Samarinda City in 2021 was at 2.76%, this figure is better than the Provincial LPE which grew by 2.55%.

Mr Alfino said that Samarinda City has created sustainable economic growth through continuous development in the construction sector, trade sector and processing industry sector.

The positive economic trend of Samarinda City needs to continue to be maintained by prioritizing the growth of the economic sector in services, trade and industry which is in line with East Kalimantan's Economic Transformation efforts.

Speaking about the preparation of the P-RPJMD for the City of Samarinda, Mr. Alfino emphasized several things that need to be paid attention to, especially in determining the goals and objectives in the preparation of the P-RPJMD for the City of Samarinda for 2021-2026 so that it continues to accommodate the mandate of the fourth phase of the RPJPD, as well as being sharpened to answer strategic issues and development problems, in addition to ensuring the link between performance cacading P-RPJMD with RENSTRA PD, as well as mapping performance crosscutting in achieving targets, then formulating performance indicators and targets is carried out in a measurable and accountable manner, taking into account the results of implementation evaluations.

He further said that the determination of the P-RPJMD is targeted for June 2023 so that it can become a reference in preparing the 2024 Samarinda City RKPD.
