Pangripta Nusantara Prov. East Kalimantan 2016

Samarinda, Monday 21/3/2016. East Kalimantan Province Bappeda is one of (18) eighteen provinces in Indonesia that are included in 1a._DPRD_Kaltim_20162nd stage in the assessment of the Anugerah Pangripta Nusantara at the provincial level throughout Indonesia in 2016.

This was conveyed by the Main Assessor Team, Suharman, S.Kom., M.Si (Head of the Bappenas Development Planning Data and Information Center) when delivering a General Explanation of the implementation of the 2016 Pangripta Nusantara Award regarding Phase II Assessment: Field Verification of the Development Planning Process for East Kalimantan Province at the Forum Group Discussion (FGD) event in the framework of the Pangripta Nusantara Award Assessment East Kalimantan Province RKPD 2016 in the Repetada meeting room on the 2nd floor of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Jl. Kusuma Bangsa Number 2 Samarinda. The main assessment team was accompanied by an independent assessment team, Sonny Harry B. Harmadi, SE., ME (University of Indonesia) and a technical assessment team, Anang Gunawan from Bappenas.

The 2016 Pangripta Nusantara Award Assessment for East Kalimantan Province in the context of field verification of the development planning process for East Kalimantan Province by the Main Assessment Team, Independent Assessment Team, Technical Assessment Team was attended by the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Transportation Service, DR. Ir. H. Zairin Zain, M.Si; Inspector of the East Kalimantan Provincial Inspectorate, Muhammad Sa'duddin, Ak; Head of the Setwilda Finance Bureau for East Kalimantan Province, Fadliansyah, SE; Head of the Setwilda Regional Development Bureau, East Kalimantan Province, Ir. H. Salman Lumoindong, M.Si; Head of the East Kalimantan Province Plantation Service, Ir. Hj. Etnawati, MSi; and representatives of SKPD within the Kalimantan Provincial Government and also attended by the Head of Balikpapan City Bappeda, Samarinda City Bappeda, Bontang City Bappeda.

In his speech, the Main Assessor Team, Suherman S.Kom., M.Si conveyed the background of the 2016 Provincial Level Pangripta Nusantara Award assessment as follows: 1). UU no. 25/2004, concerning SPPN explains that good planning is one of the determinants of success in achieving national development goals and targets; 2). Each region has different issues, characteristics and capacities in preparing development planning documents. In an effort to improve the quality of planning documents, Bappenas gives appreciation to regions that have succeeded in preparing development plan documents well; 3). Through this appreciation/award, it is hoped that it can provide encouragement for regions to always improve the quality of development planning documents, while strengthening development planning synergies between sectors, between regions and regions and between the center and the regions.

The organizer of the 2016 Provincial Pangripta Nusantara Award Assessment activities is the Deputy for Regional Development in coordination with the Deputy for Monitoring, Evaluation and Control of Development (PEPP), and the APN Assessment Team consists of an Independent Assessment Team and a team from the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas. The team from Bappenas consists of: 1). Main Assessment Team representing Echelon II Officials; 2). Meanwhile, Yusliando, ST, Head of Infrastructure and Regional Development, delivered a 10-minute presentation from Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province with the title Focus Group Discussion Assessment of Pangripta Nusantara Province Phase II, saying that East Kalimantan Development Problems with reference to development policy must have a basis for formulating relevant problems so that public policy has careful consideration as a basis for determining priorities. development.

Furthermore, Yusliando said that the Vision and Mission of East Kalimantan is in accordance with the 2013-2018 RPJMD, with the Vision "Creating an Equitable and Just Prosperous East Kalimantan Based on Agroindustry and Environmentally Friendly Energy" and 5 Missions including: 1). Focus on Human Resources by Realizing the quality of East Kalimantan's Human Resources which are independent and highly competitive; 2). Focus on Economic Competitiveness by Realizing People's Economic Competitiveness based on natural resources and renewable energy; 3). Focus on Infrastructure by creating quality basic infrastructure for society evenly; 4). Focus on Governance by realizing professional, transparent and public service-oriented government governance; 5). Focus on the environment by realizing good and healthy environmental quality and taking a climate change perspective.

Meanwhile, development targets according to the RPJMD of East Kalimantan Province for 2013-2018 include: 1). Increasing the Human Development Index (HDI); 2). Increasing literacy rates; 3). Increased average length of schooling; 4). Increased life expectancy; 5). Increased per capita income; 6). Reducing poverty levels; 7). Decreased unemployment rate; 8). Increasing people's purchasing power; 9). Decreasing Gini Index; 10). Increasing quality economic growth; 11). Increasing the contribution of the agricultural sector in a broad sense which is a regional priority; 12). Achieving food self-sufficiency; 13). Increased use of renewable energy; 14). Increased public satisfaction with basic infrastructure services; 15). The realization of a clean and corruption-free government; 16). Realization of increased quality of public services; 17). Increased performance capacity and accountability; 18). Increased Environmental Quality Index; 19). Reducing the level of greenhouse gas emissions.

The 2016 East Kalimantan Development Theme is "Increasing the Economic Added Value of Superior Regional Products and Strengthening Intra and Inter-Regional Connectivity" with the 2016 East Kalimantan priority programs including: 1). Improving the quality of education delivery; 2). Improving the quality of health services; 3). Acceleration of poverty alleviation; 4). Increasing and expanding employment opportunities; 5).
