SKM, FKP, and SP4N Report Monitoring in East Kalimantan: Evaluation and Monitoring
Last Wednesday, Achmad Risa as the Head of the General Subdivision together with the PPID staff attended the monitoring activities of the Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM), the Public Consultation Forum (FKP), and SP4N reported in East Kalimantan Province. The activity took place at the Grand Hotel Senyiur Balikpapan.
This activity aims to evaluate the service standards provided by the government in East Kalimantan and measure the level of active participation of the community. Based on the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Regulations (PANRB), SKM must be reported at least once a year. However, PANRB appealed to reporting to be carried out more regularly, such as quarterly or per semester. In this activity, Assistant Deputy for Community Participation Empowerment Deputy for Public Services from the Ministry of PANRB explained the importance of the SKM. According to him, SKM provides important information for public service provider agencies regarding the weaknesses and performance of services that have been carried out. This information is useful as material for making further policy.
In addition to SKM, SP4N LAPOR applications developed by PANRB, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Communication and Information, Presidential Staff Office, and Ombudsman are also the main focus in following up on public complaints. This application allows the community to convey aspirations and complaints online. FKP is a participatory dialogue between public service providers and the community to discuss various policies, evaluations, and issues related to public services.
These three things, namely SKM, SP4N report, and FKP, must be reported regularly as a form of local government commitment in improving public services. In addition to information, the average SKM of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in 2023 reached 85.76 which was categorized as "good". Nevertheless, there needs to be an ongoing improvement to improve service standards and provide the best for the community.
