East Kalimantan Poverty Reduction Program
Balikpapan, Thursday 8/10/15. The performance achievements of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in the 2009-2013 RPJMD under the leadership of the Governor
while in the second period of the leadership of the East Kalimantan Governor Dr.H. Awang Faroek Ishak - H.M Mukmin Faisal HP in 2013 - 2018 poverty conditions in September 2014 there was a reduction in the percentage of poor population which was 6.31% or 252,682 people and in 2015 it was reduced to 6.23%. Although this condition has placed East Kalimantan in the 7th (seven) position nationally, but it is still necessary to work hard from all stakeholders to achieve the target according to the 2013-2018 East Kalimantan RPJMD on poverty rates of 5% in 2018.
This was revealed by the East Kalimantan Governor's Expert Staff for People's Welfare and the Acceleration of MDGs Achievement, Ir. Hj. Halda Arsad, MM with Plh. Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province and the National Team for the Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K) at the Regional Poverty Reduction Coordination Team Meeting (TKPKD) within the scope of the Integrated Information System (Simpadu) of East Kalimantan Province in 2015 in the 8th Floor Meeting Room of the Gran Senyiur Hotel in Balikpapan, followed by participants from all SKPD SKPD.
Expert Staff of the Governor of the People's Welfare and and the Acceleration of MDGs Achievement Delivering the results of the TKPK meeting on September 26, 2014 in Balikpapan it was agreed to revitalize the institutional and the role of the Provincial TKPK and the Regency/City in East Kalimantan in the hope of the stronger institutional TKPK, the more effective the acceleration of poverty reduction in the regions.
Furthermore, the Expert Staff of the Governor said that the main objective of the meeting today was as a follow -up to the TKPK Meeting in 2014, namely: Revitalization of Institutional and Role of Provincial and Regency/City TKPK in East Kalimantan in an effort to achieve the priority targets for the development of poverty in the 2013 - 2018.
in the RPJMD of the Province of East Kalimantan in 2013 - 2018 has accommodated 14 (fourteen) strategic programs of poverty reduction that is SKPD crossing, among others:

10. Poverty reduction program in the field of basic facilities and infrastructure of settlements;
111. Program for poverty reduction in the field of agricultural food crops;
12. Forestry.
from 14 strategic programs for poverty reduction in East Kalimantan Province based on the 2013-2018 RPJMD located in the SKPD of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government with an indicative ceiling for 5 years (2013-2018) of Rp. 925.91 billion and based on the 2013-2018 East Kalimantan RPJMD Ceiling of Rp. 17.2 trillion.
In addition to the poverty reduction strategy program above, there are still several programs based on other SKPD tasks and are able to encourage the acceleration of the achievement of poverty alleviation outcome indicators, including the Transportation Agency, the Department of Tourism of the Maritime and Fisheries Office and other SKPDs. With these programs need to get shared attention to accelerate the achievement of the outcome indicators.
concrete steps of the provincial and district /city TKPK revitalization in the 2015-2018 Perode as follows:
1. Encourage and ensure that the poverty reduction strategy Prov. East Kalimantan 2014 - 2018 is in line with the 2013 - 2018 RPJMD and the 2015 - 2019 RPJMN.
2. Maintain and ensure that the poverty reduction program that has been stated by the RPJMD of East Kalimantan Province in 2013 - 2018 to remain consistently elaborated and referred to into the SKPD and RKPD Strategic Plan and Renja SKPD comprehensively (per cluster); 3. Encourage and keep the planning and budgeting process to produce relevant and effective APBDs for poverty reduction;
4. Control the monitoring of the implementation of poverty reduction programs in the provinces and districts /cities;
5. Compile and submit reports on the implementation of Regional Poverty Reduction (LP2KD) in 2015 in full and timely which will be input for TNP2K.
