Progress Report MP3EI Kalimantan 2012
Banjarmasin, Wednesday 11/4/12. Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Rusman Heriawan delivered a presentation and at the same time opened the event for the Acceleration Masterplan and
Expansion of the Indonesian Economic Development (MP3EI) Kalimantan Economic Corridor (KE) in the Swiss-belHotel Borneo meeting room, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, attended by approximately one hundred and fifty participants consisting of four Kalimantan Provinces, namely the South Kalimantan Provincial Government; East Kalimantan Provincial Government; Central Kalimantan Provincial Government; and the West Kalimantan Provincial Government, as there were several Regents or their representatives present as representatives from the regions that were the location of the MP3EI KE Kalimantan project activities.

while only two of the four Provincial Governments in Kalimantan were directly attended by the Governor, namely the Governor of Kalimantan South, Rudi Arifin and the Governor of East Kalimantan, DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak with his entourage including the Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province, DR.H. Irianto Lambrie, Economic and Development Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Head of the East Kalimantan Province Transportation Service, Ir. Zairin Zain, M.Si; Head of the Department of Industry and Trade and Cooperatives of East Kalimantan Province; Head of the Animal Husbandry Service; Head of the East Kalimantan Province PU Service; Head of the Bangda Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of East Kalimantan and officials within the East Kalimantan Government along with related staff.
Meanwhile, the East Kalimantan Bappeda was attended directly by the Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, DR.Ir.H. Rusmadi.MS; Head of Regional Infrastructure Development, Ir. Salman.L, MM and Head of Government and Apparatus Division, Ir. Trimurti Rahayu, M.Si; Head of Sub-Sector for Business Development, Tourism and Culture, Saur Parsaoran.T, S.Pi'., MEMD and Head of Sub-Sector for Regional Infrastructure, Ir.Hj. Lisa Hasliana, M.Si; Staff for Regional Infrastructure Development Ahmad Muzakkir, ST and Stella Felicia Sinaga, S.Si and Sukandar, S.Sos Secretariat of East Kalimantan Bappeda, Public Relations executive staff of East Kalimantan Bappeda.
South Kalimantan Governor Rudi Arifin as Deputy Chair of the MP3EI TO Kalimantan gave a report on the implementation of the MP3EI TO Kalimantan at the start of the event and continued with a presentation by the Director General of Animal Husbandry as Secretary of MP3EI KE Kalimantan, saying that the investment value of MP3EI KE Kalimantan reached Rp. 740.4 trillion consisting of 222 projects spread across four provinces throughout Kalimantan.
Of the 222 MP3EI KE Kalimantan projects, 113 projects or 50.90% dominate the number of projects in the Palm Oil sector, ranking second in the timber project sector, 49 projects or 22.07%; third place in the coal mining sector with 19 projects or 8.56%; fourth rank in the oil and gas mining sector with 6 projects or 2.70%; fifth rank in the Bauxite sector with 7 projects or 3.15%; ranked sixth in the iron and steel sector with 7 projects or 3.15%; ranked seventh in the copper sector with 1 project or 0.45%; eighth place in the rubber sector with 1 project or 0.45%; ninth place in the food crop sector with 2 projects or 0.90%; The last ten rankings for other sectors were 17 projects or 7.66%.
Meanwhile, in terms of investment value with a total of Rp. 740.354 Trillion which dominates the first ranking is the oil and gas mining sector which only has 6 projects but has the largest investment value of IDR. 232.325 Trillion and second place in the coal mining sector with 19 projects with an investment value of 207.880 Trillion, and third position in the Bauxite sector with 7 projects with an investment value of Rp. 96,040 Trillion, and the palm oil sector which dominates the number of projects with 113 projects only ranks fourth with an investment value of IDR 62,955 Trillion, ranking fifth in the timber sector with 49 projects having an investment of IDR. 49,304 trillion and sixth position in other sectors with 17 projects having an investment value of Rp. 40.305 Trillion, and seventh position in the iron and steel sector with a total of 7 projects having an investment of Rp. 37,751 trillion, eighth position in the copper sector with 1 project with an investment value of Rp. 12 Trillion; ninth position in the food crop sector with 1 project with an investment value of Rp. 1.66 Trillion and the last tenth position in the rubber sector with 1 project with an investment value of Rp. 141.38 billion.
Meanwhile, the MP3EI KE Kalimantan project is specifically in East Kalimantan Province in accordance with the explanation of the Governor of East Kalimantan, DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak conveyed to the East Kalimantan KP3EI Team (Committee for the Acceleration, Expansion and Development of the Indonesian Economy) at a meeting with the Kalimantan Economic Corridor Working Team, in the meeting room of the Swiss-balHotel Banjarmasin, 11/4/12 with the theme of the presentation Evaluation of the Implementation of the Kalimantan MP3EI Project.
Specifically, the Kalimantan Economic Corridor MP3EI project in East Kalimantan is in the growth center project locus, including growth center project locus 1, growth center project locus 2, growth center project locus 3, and growth center project locus 7 with a total investment value of Rp. 402.15 Trillion with details of MP3EI's investment locus in East Kalimantan which is in locus 1 consisting of East Kutai Regency and Bontang City for Bauxite, Alumina, Palm Oil, Coal and Timber projects with an investment value of Rp. 111, 59 T; Locus 2 consists of Balikpapan City, Dsk, Palm Oil, Oil and Gas, Timber with an investment value of Rp. 159.50 Trillion; locus 3 is in Rapak and Ganal with an investment value of Rp. 70 Trillion; and locus 7 on the Railway, Coal and Trans Kalimantan Road projects with an investment value of Rp. 61.15 Trillion.
The East Kalimantan corridor infrastructure investment consists of several MP3EI projects, including: 1. Construction of the Samarinda - Balikpapan express way with an investment value of Rp. 6.3 Trillion started in 2010 and completed in 2016 investors from the government; 2. Development of Maloy port capacity with an investment value of Rp. 4.8 Trillion projects started in 2011 and completed in 2013 investors by the government; 3.
Construction of the Balang Island bridge with a length of 1,314 M with an investment value Rp. 3.6 Trillion project period started in 2013 and completed in 2015, investors by the government; 4. Accelerate the construction of the New Samarinda Airport with an investment value of Rp. 1.2 Trillion project period started in 2011 and project period completed in 2015, investors by the government; 5. Construction of the Karingau Container terminal with an investment value of Rp. 713 Billion project period started in 2008 and completed in 2012, investors by the government; 6. Temporary working unit for the construction of the PPU and Karingau ports with a value of 598 billion, the project period started in 2015, the project period was completed until now there is still no data, investors from the government; 7. Improvement of Tj road. Selor - Tj. Redep Maloy with an investment value of Rp. 550 billion, the project period started in 2011 and the project period was completed in 2014, investors by the government; 8. Construction of the Short Span Balang Island bridge with an investment value of Rp. 488 billion and the project period was completed in 2011 by investors by the government; 9. Improvement of the Samarinda - Bontang-Maloy Road with an investment value of Rp. 481 Billion project period started in 2011 and the project was completed in 2014 investors by the government; 10. Widening of the Samarinda - Tenggarong road with an investment value of Rp. 400 Billion project period started in 2011 and the project period was completed in 2014, investors by the government; 11. Temporary Working Unit for the Construction of the Laur Maloy/Sangkulirang Faspel with an investment value of Rp. 357 billion for the project period starting in 2015 and there is no data yet for the project completion period, investors by the government; 12. Construction of the Wain Reservoir for raw water needs with an investment value of Rp. 290 billion, the project period started in 2015 and there is no data yet for the project completion period, investors by the government; 13. Widening the road to Derawan Island with an investment of Rp. 200 Billion project period started in 2011 and the project period was completed in 2015, investors by the government; 14. Construction of Tanjung Issuy Port with an investment value of Rp. 1786 billion, the project period started in 2015 and there is no data yet for the project completion period, investors by the government; 15. Tanah Grogot Harbor with an investment value of Rp. 163 billion, project period started in 2015, project completion period, there is no data yet, investors by the government; 16. Nunukan Kanpel with an investment value of Rp. 152 billion, the project period started in 2015 and there is no data for the project ending period, investors by the government; 17. Construction of environmental roads in Derawan and Tanjung Batu with an investment value of Rp. 150 Billion project period started in 2011, and the project period was completed in 2015 and investors by the government; 18. Construction of a power plant with an investment value of Rp. 7.27 Trillion project period started in 2011, and the project period was completed in 2015 investors by BUMN; 19. Balikpapan Sepinggan Airport with an investment value of Rp. 1.6 Trillion project period started in 2011 and the project period was completed in 2014 investors by BUMN; 20.
