Finalization Meeting for Preparation of Regional Poverty Reduction Plan (RPKD) Documents for 2025-2029 East Kalimantan Province
Today, (22/01/2024) the Government and Development Sector (PPM) held a meeting with the People's Welfare Bureau (Kesra) of the East Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat, the East Kalimantan Provincial Social Service, the Population, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service (DKP3A). This meeting focused on discussing the preparation of the Regional Poverty Reduction Plan Document (RKPD) 2025-2029.
The meeting agenda includes several important points in the preparation of the East Kalimantan RKPD Document, such as the preparation of updated Targeting Data for the Acceleration of the Elimination of Extreme Poverty (P3KE), verification and validation of data on extreme poverty in districts/cities, a coordination meeting on the identification of vulnerable workers, as well as a meeting on the preparation of the Annual Action Plan (RAT) document for Regional Poverty Reduction In 2025, East Kalimantan Province.
In the context of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation no. 53 of 2020, RPKD is a regional development plan in overcoming poverty for a five year period.
The aim is to achieve the poverty reduction target, as the basis for the annual action plan, and realize inclusive stakeholder participation.
In this case, Bappeda emphasizes the importance of supporting regional officials in tagging activity programs related to poverty alleviation.
Apart from that, focusing on beneficiaries in the systematic distribution of the Social Assistance/PKH program and according to criteria within the Regency/City scope was a critical step in the discussions at the meeting.
The Social Welfare Bureau of the East Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat, DKP3A of East Kalimantan Province, and the East Kalimantan Provincial Social Service have expressed their readiness to verify poverty data in the field with special attention to the accommodation of survey officers.
All parties agree that the preparation of the RKPD is not only an instrument for policy synchronization, but also a joint effort in achieving prosperity and alleviating poverty in East Kalimantan.
