Secretary of East Kalimantan Bappeda Discusses the Importance of Timeliness and Quality in the 2026 Samarinda City RKPD Public Consultation Forum

Samarinda, (13/02) – In the Public Consultation Forum (KP) for the 2026 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) of Samarinda City, the Secretary of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Saur Parsaoran, was the main resource person who discussed strategic steps in preparing RKPD that is right on target and effective.


This forum was held in the Bapperida Ballroom of Samarinda City and was attended by various stakeholders, including representatives from Forkopimda, DPRD, regional apparatus within Samarinda City, academics, and related agencies.

Saur Parsaoran emphasized several important things that must be considered in preparing the RKPD 2026.


According to him, the completion of the RKPD must be carried out on time and with the right quality, in accordance with applicable regulations. This is important to ensure that the planned programs and activities can run effectively and have a positive impact on the community.


"The RKPD formulation process must accommodate the vision, mission and superior programs of the elected Regional Head, referring to the 2025-2029 RPJMD," said Saur in his presentation. He also emphasized the importance of evaluating the implementation of the 2024 RKPD to formulate appropriate development problems and policy strategies based on data and community needs.


He highlighted the importance of optimizing the use of mandatory spending funds in improving the quality of public services, as well as strengthening major project planning which must be in line with regional development priorities. All local government officials and stakeholders also need to be open-minded and innovative, with the aim of making planning more focused, measurable and accountable.


On the same occasion, the KP Forum was also attended by a number of other speakers, including Supriyadi as an expert planner from Bappenas, Wisnu Hidayat, an intermediate expert policy analyst from the Ministry of Home Affairs who attended online and Hj. Ananta Faturoji as Head of the Samarinda City Bappeda explained the initial draft of the 2026 Samarinda City RKPD. After the presentation session, the event continued with a question and answer session and the signing of the Minutes (BA) to agree on the results of today's meeting.


This forum is expected to provide clear direction in the preparation of the 2026 RKPD, with a focus on improving the economy, infrastructure, as well as the quality of human resources and good governance to create a city of Samarinda that is faithful, independent, prosperous and modern.
