East Kalimantan Bappeda Vocal Group
Samarinda, Wednesday 6/1/2016. The East Kalimantan Provincial Government is holding various competitions to celebrate this historic day for 
East Kalimantan Provincial Government, namely the 59th Birthday of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in 2016.
One of the competitions for the general public and SKPD within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government is a vocal group competition which involves 10 personnel and the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda also participates in taking part in the Vocal Group competition under the coordinator Charmarijaty, ST., M.Si Head of Development Control Sub-Sector for Statistics & Development Control with members Andrie Asdi, SH Head of Apparatus Sub-Sector for Government and Apparatus; Muhammad Hamsani, ST staff for Statistics and Development Control; Elly Luchritia Nova, ST, MT staff for Statistics and Development Control; Andrei and Reza staff for Statistics and Development Control; Zainul Husin, A.Md and Misbahul Jannah as Secretariat.
The Regional Work Unit (SKPD) of the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Abdul Wahab Sjahranie Samarinda succeeded in winning first place in the Vocal Group competition for the General and SKPD within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in 2016 in commemoration of the 59th anniversary of East Kalimantan in 2016 and won second place was won by the East Kalimantan Province Communication and Information Service and third place was won by the East Kalimantan Province Regional Disaster Management Agency.
Participants in the SKPD vocal group competition within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government were six groups out of fifty-four SKPD. According to Pantia, the organizers were less interested in taking part in the vocal group competition due to the fact that there were still many SKPD within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government who were not ready to take part in the competition, especially since the preparation time was hampered by the large number of holidays or holidays with employees. The organizers hope that next year there will be many participants and will involve District/City SKPDs throughout East Kalimantan.
The organizers of the 2016 vocal group competition introduced the local cultures of East Kalimantan, one of which was the obligatory song for the competition participants, created by the Governor of East Kalimantan, DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak with the title Heart of Borneo. Meanwhile, the title of the song chosen must also be local culture and the work of the best regional girls and a song chosen by the Bappeda vocal group of East Kalimantan Province with the title Buah Bolok, fruit created by Aji Evanata.
The performance of the East Kalimantan Bappeda vocal group received a rousing welcome from the visitors or supporters, although they did not succeed in winning.
