The Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan, Hadi Mulyadi, said in his speech that we need to maximize the various forestry and agricultural potentials in the broadest sense that are available in East Kalimantan. He added that the potential of medicinal plants available in East Kalimantan is quite large and these must be managed optimally so that they have a welfare impact, especially for the people of East Kalimantan. For this reason, he has high hopes for the existence and role of UPT. KPHP Kendilo is to be able to innovate in developing products which can later be sold to export (overseas) markets.
