Webinar Discussion on Health System Reform with Provincial Government (Lessons from the Covid19 pandemic)
Samarinda, 12/08/2020. Head of Government and Human Development, Drs. H. Hariyo Santoso accompanied by the Head of the Social Welfare Sub-Sector H. Andrie Asdi, SH and Staff attended a Webinar Discussion on Health System Reform with the Provincial Government (Lessons from the Covid-19 Pandemic) via the Zoom Meeting Application in the SDMP field room at the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda office.
This discussion was organized by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas of the Republic of Indonesia in order to follow up on the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the Plenary Cabinet session which determined Strengthening the National Health System as one of the development focuses in the 2021 RKP which also needs to be aligned with the Regional Government RKPD in 2021. 2021.
This activity was opened by the Deputy for Human Development, Society and Culture of Bappenas and also delivered an explanation of the concept of Health System Reform.
In general, this discussion emphasizes that the Central and Regional Governments must work hard to reduce the rate of increase in new cases (TB, Leprosy, Malaria, Stunting, Obesity and Smoking) and pay attention to several aspects in order to remain productive amidst the current covid19.
Apart from that, the concept of building collective resilience is very necessary, namely reforms to strengthen the Disaster Resilience System, Reform of the National Health Security System, Reform of Food Security, and Reform of the Social Protection System.
