BAPPEDA STAN OF BEST KALTIM FAIR 2015

Samarinda, Monday 13/4/15. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province won the First Champion Achievement in the Best Stan Category Kaltim Fair Year 2015 in the parking lot of the Samarinda Sempaja Madya Stadium Complex which was attended by all SKPD Scope of the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan, BUMN, BUMD and the private sector from Thursday, April 9, 2015 s.d Monday, April 13, 2015.

The award and certificate trophy as the first winner of the 2015 East Kalimantan Fair Stan category was handed over directly by the Acting. Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province and Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Dr.Ir.H. Rusmadi, MS at the closing of the 2015 East Kalimantan Fair which was also closed by Plt. East Kalimantan Province Secretary on Monday, 4/13/15 Starting at 14.30 to 15.30 WITA.

In the delivery of his remarks Plt. Dr.Ir.H. Rusmadi, MS said that the implementation of the East Kalimantan Fair aims to introduce the development results achieved by both the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and from the private sector/investors in East Kalimantan.

East Kalimantan Fair is also a medium in promoting local superior products to outside and international go as well as a positive interaction between producers and consumers on business products, both on a small scale (MSME) and large scale (companies), as well as open investment opportunities for investment in various business sectors in East Kalimantan.

Dr.Ir.H. Rusmadi, MS added that "the implementation of East Kalimantan Fair has a positive impact on increasing investment and opening business opportunities, as well as making a significant contribution to economic growth and the welfare of the people of East Kalimantan".

The East Kalimantan Province Bappeda exhibition booth displays development data both from the development planning session of the East Kalimantan Province from the local scale to the national scale such as the planning of toll road development from Samarinda-Balikpapan, the development of the Industrial Estate and International Port (KIPI Maloy) in Sangatta East Kutai Regency. Kipi Maloy is divided into three zones namely KIPI, Batuta Chemical, and Trans Kalimantan Economiz Zone (TKEZ).

Kipi itself is more focused on the downstream oil palm plantation industry. Chemical Batuta is concentrated in the construction of a 90 thousand ton year ammonium nitrate factory per year. Whereas KTEZ processes the downstream coal industry.

Kipi processes downstream from CPO (Crude Palm Oil) such as cooking oil or margarine. Then the chemical batuta is aminum nitrate or explosives, and the TKEZ is more down to Coal Downstream such as fertilizer.

International -scale development planning information is certainly needed by the wider community for various interests as well as investors in investing their capital in the regions.

During the five days of implementation of the 5th East Kalimantan Fair 2015 at the Sempaja Samarinda Madya Stadium complex, it has succeeded in buying and selling up to Rp19 billion. This value is higher than the previous year's transactions which only reached Rp12 billion. It is hoped that these activities will have a positive impact on investment and the opening of business opportunities and contribute to the acceleration of economic growth and the welfare of the people of East Kalimantan.
