h. Awang Faroek Ishak said that the second year evaluation of the East Kalimantan Province RPJMD in 2013 - 2018 has a strategic value and is very important for all of us by looking at the current position of the development of East Kalimantan. The purpose of the RPJMD evaluation is to get an overview of the category of achievement/success and at the same time the process that is passed in the development of the realization of the Vision and Mission of East Kalimantan 2013 - 2018.
Target of Development of East Kalimantan as written in Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2014 concerning the East Kalimantan Province RPJMD is mandated by 19 targets that support the achievement of vision and mission. The results of the 2015 East Kalimantan development target were 84.21 % had met the target, 10.53 % towards the target and 5.62 % had not yet reached the target and 23.53 % had not yet reached the target.
For targets that have not been achieved, it is necessary to identify inhibitors and efforts that are carried out for accelerating their achievements. While for targets that have reached the target, it is necessary to see the supporting factors in order to be a learning for targets that have not yet reached the target.
This development target is supported by the results of 119 priority programs that are still relevant to 19 targets.
In general, the achievement of the target performance of East Kalimantan in 2015 according to the results of the East Kalimantan RPJMD evaluation team from Mulawarman University, Samarinda from 19 targets has reached the target of 17 targets, 1 target is going towards target, while 1 target is still experiencing obstacles.
The target of increasing quality economic growth is still below the target for indicators of economic growth and non -oil economic growth. Inhibiting factors of this condition are:
1. Not yet optimal relations with local government to a conducive investment climate; 2. The economic structure is still dominated by the mining sector and the oil and gas industry processing sector;
3. The center of economic growth centered on regencies/cities that have the advantages of natural resources and infrastructure that are relatively good.
For that it is recommended:
1. Acceleration of economic transformation;
2. More directing the renewable natural resource economic structure; 3. East Kalimantan economic development that is interrelated between upstream and downstream with its superior commodity.
At the end of his remarks the Governor of East Kalimantan thanked the East Kalimantan RPJMD evaluation team from Mulawarman University, especially to the Rector of Mulawarman University who had given permission to the team to work in within Efforts to oversee the achievement of development in East Kalimantan towards East Kalimantan advanced 2018.
All need thoughts and breakthroughs. For this reason, we need strong coordination between provinces and regencies/cities in East Kalimantan to support the achievement of the target of the development of East Kalimantan for the acceleration of the achievement of the vision and mission of East Kalimantan.
