FGD Application of Minimum Service Standards in East Kalimantan
Thursday, September 16 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province attended virtually the FGD activity on the Implementation of Minimum Service Standards in East Kalimantan.
The implementation of SPM regulates the types of services, quality of services and recipients of basic services and implementation strategies related to Education, Public Works, Social Affairs, Health, Public Housing and Settlement Areas, and Peace, Public Order and Community Protection.
All regions in East Kalimantan Province have formed SPM Implementation Teams and submitted SPM implementation reports in 2020.
Strategies for Increasing the Effectiveness of SPM Implementation include:
- Ensuring the fulfillment of SPM is a priority program in regional planning.
- Strengthening the SPM Implementation Team throughout East Kalimantan Province, supported by funding allocations for supporting activities as stated in Permendagri 90/2019.
- Strengthening the Implementation Team, especially in terms of the Binwas function to reduce the gap in SPM achievements that occur in City Districts so that evenly distributed achievements in SPM fields can be achieved according to targets and evenly distributed.
- Preparation of programs, activities and sub-activities for fulfilling SPM to refer to Permendagri 90/2019 jo. Minister of Home Affairs Decree 050/3708/2020.
- Coordinating with the Provincial Government and Central Government in order to improve the quality of SPM implementation.
