FGD Data Collection Research on Covid 19 Testing and Tracking Financing Mechanisms

Tuesday, September 14 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province attended the FGD for Data Collection for Assessment of Covid 19 Testing and Tracking Financing Mechanisms.

The Center for Health Insurance Financing and Management Policy (Pusat KPMAK) Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Gadjah Mada University is currently assisting the Center for Health Financing and Insurance (PPJK) of the Indonesian Ministry of Health to carried out a study entitled "Assessment of COVID-19 Testing & Tracking Financing Mechanisms for COVID-19 Surveillance in Indonesia".

On August 4 and 23 2021, the Indonesian Ministry of Health's KPMAK and PPJK Centers held an initial meeting.

This Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was held to discuss further regarding filling in data, including obstacles during the data filling process and other matters.

There are 4 objectives of the study carried out, including related to Procurement, Financing Arrangements, Unit Costs, and Total Costs required along with alternative financing that can be carried out.

East Kalimantan, specifically North Penajam Paser Regency, is one of the study locations in research based on several predetermined indicators. Several other locations are Sleman Regency (Yogyakarta) and Nagekeo (NTT).
