Cheap Food Movement Towards National Religious Day
Samarinda (06/03/2024) – Head of Bappeda East Kalimantan Province attended the Cheap Food Movement in Samarinda City which was held by the Food, Crop and Horticulture Service (PTPH) together with Bank Indonesia and related departments. Collaborating with farmer groups, MSMEs and business partners to help the community meet their basic needs ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
This event was held in the courtyard of the Taman Samalow Museum and was officially opened by the Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province, Sri Wahyuni. Head of Bappeda Yusliando along with Head of Bank Indonesia East Kalimantan Representative Budi Widihartono, Head of PTPH Service Siti Farisyah Yana and Head of the Economic Bureau accompanied the opening of the Cheap Food Movement event which was marked by the beating of kentongs.
The Cheap Food Movement aims to control food inflation in East Kalimantan and support micro, small and medium enterprises.
Through the Cheap Food Movement, it is hoped that people will also shop according to their needs so that the benefits of the Cheap Food Movement can be felt by the community evenly.
