Visit of the Bontang City DPRD regarding CSR funds for handling COVID-19
Samarinda, (05/02/2021). A total of 8 people from the DPRD Commission II of Bontang City visited the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province in order to coordinate the handling of Covid-19 involving the Company's CSR.
The meeting which was held in the Propeda meeting room was welcomed by the Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM accompanied by the Head of Economics, Saor Parsaoran, and the Head of Subdivision of Infrastructure, Creation and Settlements, Alfino Rinaldi.
Chairman of Commission II H Rustam said that his party wanted to know the extent of the role of the Provincial Government in encouraging companies in terms of CSR funds.
In response to this Aswin explained din East Kalimantan Province and Bontang City a CSR forum has been formed which is expected to be carry out activities to encourage synergy between company programs and government programs, such as handling Covid-19
Bappeda has increased the synergy between the government and business entities in regional development or what is known as ETAM synergy. Through ETAM Synergy, Mining Companies carry out entry company PPM programs into the SIPPD Application to analyze the alignment of Community Development and Empowerment programs implemented by Mining Companies with Development programs carried out by Regional Governments< /span>, "This program started in 2020 and there are 33 companies that have entered, with total funds of IDR 188 billion," explained Aswin
Aswin further explained that from 2020 to 2023, it is planned to install 50,000 connections free electricity by mining companies, and in the future the focus of financing for business entities will be the facilitation of livable houses for poor people.
